Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility; ARRT (R) preferred.
• Active state licensure (if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Knowledge of MRI safety standards and equipment operation.

Responsabilités

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Verify patient identification and review exam requisitions.
• Position patients for MRI exams ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents per orders and protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during scans.
• Maintain records in the PACS/RIS system.
• Inspect equipment and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure timely results.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain certification.
