This role requires NYS radiologic technologist licensure, ARRT certification (MRI), and ongoing CE credits. ARRT MRI certification within 1 year is acceptable; travel to other OrthoNY locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must hold NYS licensure and ARRT certification.
• MRI certification with ARRT or willing to complete within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• Continuing education requirements to maintain ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient history with the procedure for licensed practitioner use.
• Prepare patient for procedure with instructions and education.
• Select and operate MRI system and related equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and ethical demeanor with patients and team.
• Recognize conditions essential for successful exam completion.
• Provide excellent patient care with safety, comfort and clear communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and outcomes.
• Support clinic operations and other duties as assigned.
