North Star Diagnostic Imaging, LLC is seeking a compassionate MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Fort Worth, TX (Keller location). This part-time role involves performing high-quality MRI exams, delivering excellent patient care, and collaborating with radiologists and staff.

Cross-training into CT or mammography is available for qualified technologists. Responsibilities include patient preparation, history review, contrast administration when appropriate, and strict

Competenze

• Current Texas MRT certification and ARRT MR and/or ARMRIT certification.
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Mansioni

• Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Educate patients about their procedure and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure MRI equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring providers, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency
• Assist with departmental workflow and other duties as assigned

Position Summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas (our North Star Keller location). This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality MRI examinations while providing exceptional patient care and service. This position also offers the opportunity to cross-train into CT or mammography if desired for qualified technologists interested in expanding their skills.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Saturdays 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Opportunity to help out during the week as needed/desired

Requirements
