Job summary

Santa Fe College seeks an Adjunct Assistant Professor to develop, prepare, and teach MRI coursework for didactic, laboratory, and classroom settings at a community college. The role offers day, evening, or online instruction and may utilize other distance formats.

Compensation includes $846 per semester credit hour or $33.84 per clock/contact hour; a criminal background check will be conducted. Reports to the Chair, Allied Health Programs.

Qualifications

• Faculty must possess an associate’s degree in MRI, Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Cardiovascular Sonography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography; OR a bachelor’s degree with ARRT MRI OR ARMRIT credential.
• A criminal background check will be conducted.

• Plans, organizes, and delivers instruction to didactic, laboratory and classroom settings.
• Promotes excellence in teaching and learning through quality instruction and service.
• Collaborates with Chair, faculty and peers to develop curriculum.
• Demonstrates technological literacy and innovation in instruction delivery.
• Works as part of an academic team to support SF philosophy and missions.
• Maintains records including attendance, grading, and student learning outcomes.
• Documents student progress and ensures fair assessment of learning outcomes.
