Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-time Range Aid to support Motorcycle Rider Coaches. You will assist with motorcycle preparation, inspections, fueling, and range setup under the MSF curriculum and CSN policies.

Responsibilities include pre-use inspections, basic repairs, and helping with class activities while maintaining safety standards. Applicants must have or obtain a Nevada M endorsement and current first aid and CPR certification; teaching or public speaking experience is

Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain first aid and CPR certification.
Must have or be able to obtain M endorsement on a Nevada Driver's license.
Preferred: teaching experience or ability to speak in public.

Responsibilities

Move, gas, inspect, and perform minor repairs on CSN motorcycles under the direction of a Certified Licensed Rider Coach.
Set range exercises and riding demonstrations per MSF curriculum and CSN policies.
Conduct pre-use inspections of motorcycles used in classes.
Fuel CSN provided motorcycles and address issues found during inspections.
Prepare range materials and ensure range safety and setup for classes.
Assist Rider coach with student paperwork under supervision; do not sign reports.
Adhere to MSF, Nevada Rider, and CSN professional standards; no coaching during range activities.
