Powell Wellness Center is seeking a friendly, energetic Fitness Support Specialist to help create a welcoming, supportive environment in Culpeper, VA. You’ll assist members with form, safety, and equipment while working part-time on opening shifts and weekends.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma ( CPR/AED) and about a year of fitness or customer service experience, plus strong communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 1 year experience in fitness or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; follows instructions well.

Responsabilités

• Guide members on exercise form, equipment use and safety protocols.
• Engage and motivate members; provide encouragement and assistance.
• Keep informed about classes, programs and events to assist members.
• Monitor fitness floor cleanliness and safety; assist with basic vitals.
• Answer questions and follow up with members.
