Job summary

PATH Recreation & Fitness Center is seeking a Member Support Specialist with weekend availability to help members, manage payments, and share information on classes and events. You will greet guests, support bookings, and contribute to a clean, welcoming facility.

Responsibilities include assisting with tours, enrolling new members, and supporting team operations while maintaining safety and exceptional member experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience required.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong communication and computer skills, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide a welcoming experience.
• Process payments, answer inquiries, and manage reservations.
• Inform members about classes, activities, and events by phone, email, or in person.
• Give facility tours and help enroll new members.
• Keep the facility organized, restocked, and clean.

This position requires weekend availability.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome & Assist – Be the friendly face that greets members and guests, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Membership Support – Handle inquiries, process payments, and manage reservations with efficiency and professionalism.
• Engage & Inform – Provide helpful information about classes, activities, and special events in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Give Facility Tours – Help potential members feel at home by guiding them through our center and enrolling new members.
• Maintain a Pristine Environment – Keep the facility organized, restock supplies, and assist in keeping spaces clean and inviting.
• Emergency Response – Serve as a first responder in medical or building emergencies, following established safety protocols.
• Support Team Success – Take on additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional member experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
