Job summary

West Coast Hearing Clinic in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a Part Time Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team for 20-24 hours per week, mornings only. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of medical office experience and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

As the PCC, you will welcome patients, manage scheduling, handle insurance verifications, and support clinic operations. This role offers growth opportunities within the GN Group family and Beltone brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of medical office management experience.
• Front desk experience in the hearing industry is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide the first contact for patients who call or come in to schedule an appointment or inquire about services.
• Screen calls, identify better hearing candidates and facilitate service by providing information to secure an appointment.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and conduct outbound retention calls to patients.
• Coordinate provider’s schedule and ensure smooth flow of patient care.
• Check patients in and out, collect and record payments, track revenue and accounting activities.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports and tracking documents.
• Respond to home office requests in a timely manner.
• Verify patient information, billing/insurance data, collect and process documentation and maintain patient charts.
• Work with insurance and workers compensation agencies to facilitate authorizations and benefits verification.
• Perform administrative tasks such as typing, filing, inventory, and mail.
• Verify status of hearing aids and repairs and manage inventory.
• Assist with grassroots marketing and recall letters.
• Open and close the office daily and ensure reception area is maintained.
• Provide training support for other location front office staff.
