Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Linen Aide at Fairview Riverside University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. This part-time role (0.5 FTE) covers 5:00 AM–9:00 AM shifts, with every other weekend work, and includes benefit eligibility under SEIU Local 113.

You will collect, sort, stock, and distribute clean linens, support infection prevention standards, and perform related duties. Previous linen services or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Basic math, with effective communication required.
• High school level ability to use technology (computer/tablet) to enter data.

Responsibilities

• Performs service-oriented tasks for staff and customers.
• Inspects and sorts linen, records and returns rejects to laundry.
• Loads and delivers linen on carts; replenishes stock as needed.
• Maintains linen room and workspace in a clean, orderly condition.
• Keeps records of linen usage and utilization.
• Takes count of linen from deliveries and tracks in log or tablet.
