Job summary

Fairview Riverside University Hospital in Minneapolis is hiring an Environmental Services Aide for evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), part-time 0.4 FTE, with every other weekend. You will help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The role involves cleaning patient rooms and common areas, following infection prevention protocols, and using proper equipment. Previous housekeeping or healthcare environmental services experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Dependable and detail-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Experience in housekeeping or healthcare environmental services preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning assignments per department procedures and protocols.
• Follows infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Cleans patient rooms and common areas; handles equipment and supplies properly.
• Replenishes supplies and ensures the area is orderly and sanitary.
• Demonstrates respectful, courteous service and communicates effectively with staff.
