Job summary

Shook Home Health Care Center in Chambersburg is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide (5:45 AM – 1:45 PM) to support meal prep, cooking, and service for residents. You will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and ensure a clean, organized kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and sanitation standards, communicating with kitchen staff, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail required.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping vegetables and meat.
• Cook and present dishes according to menu specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
