Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a part-time custodian to perform light cleaning of restrooms, classrooms and public areas on campus. This 28-hour per week role runs 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, with duties including stocking supplies, scrubbing toilets and sinks, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, plus maintaining entryways and common areas.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, punctuality, dependability and trustworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Light cleaning of restrooms, classrooms and public areas.
• Stock all paper supplies and hand cleaning products in restrooms.
• Scrub, sanitize toilets and sinks including fixtures and walls.
• Sweep, mop floors and vacuum carpeted areas daily.
• Empty trash and maintain entryways, common areas and lounges.
• Clean windows, doors and frequently touched surfaces.
