Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. The Monroe, NC position runs Mondays and Wednesdays 12p-6p, with paid onboarding and ongoing training.

You will help with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, building independence while working within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.

This position is located in Monroe, NC and will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 12p-6p.

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience – you will genuinely make a difference in somebody’s life. Responsibilities will include:

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks

• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $16.00/hour

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
