Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Chicago West, IL and surrounding areas including Hanover Park, DeKalb, Geneva, Hoffman Estates, Aurora, and more. This role focuses on hospice and euthanasia compassion in a mobile setting, offering a supportive, mentorship-rich environment.

You’ll join a community of veterinarians, with flexible 2–5 day per week schedules, a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM/BVMS/VMD degree required and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Ability to travel to client locations as a mobile veterinarian.
• Availability for weekends or flexible scheduling as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in a mobile setting.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care in clients' homes across Chicago West, IL and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love support team and mentors for ongoing professional growth.
