Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian for Chicago North Shore, IL, including Arlington Heights, Glenview, Highland Park, Northbrook, McHenry, Palatine, and surrounding areas. You will provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, offering compassionate support and flexible scheduling tailored to your life.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check pre-hire and post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Conduct in-home veterinary visits across Chicago North Shore and surrounding areas.
• Engage in ongoing mentorship and professional support from Lap of Love.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and proper documentation of visits.
