Job summary
Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to join our Chicago West team serving Hanover Park, DeKalb, Geneva, Hoffman Estates, Aurora and nearby areas. As a mobile hospice veterinarian, you’ll provide compassionate end-of-life care, pain management and euthanasia in clients’ homes, with flexible 2-5 day schedules, mentorship, and a supportive network of experienced leaders.
We offer a guaranteed base salary for part-time roles, bonus opportunities, robust benefits, and ongoing
Qualifications
- Must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and be licensed to practice in the U.S.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for companion animals in clients’ homes.
- Practice medicine in a mobile setting, prioritizing patient comfort and family guidance.
- Work independently while staying connected with Lap of Love mentors and support teams.
