Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform venipunctures and specimen processing at LTC facilities and patient homes in the Circleville/Chillicothe region.

The position is part-time (approx 32 hours/week) with an early morning shift from 4:00am to 11:00am. Candidates must have phlebotomy experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy experience of at least 6 months with 100 successful venipunctures.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of liability automobile insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and processing duties per departmental procedures.
• Identify patients and label specimens correctly.
• Process specimens to maintain integrity for transport to testing facility.
• Float between LTC facilities and patient homes as needed.
• Provide training when needed.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
