Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, LLC in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to collect specimens at long-term care facilities and other offsite sites, about 32 hours per week, 4:00am–11:00am shifts. The role requires phlebotomy skills, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to multiple facilities.

You will perform venipunctures, label specimens, and ensure specimen integrity for testing, with opportunities to train and assist in processing.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience 6 months with at least 100 successful venipunctures.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to travel to each facility and a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain proof of liability auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and processing duties per procedures.
• Identify patients correctly and label specimens accurately.
• Process specimens to maintain integrity for transport to testing facility.
• Provide training if needed and operate departmental equipment.
• Read, collect, and receive all laboratory tests ordered.
• Adhere to safety and PPE policies and work as a team.
