Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, LLC in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to cover Central Indiana/Indianapolis region. This part-time role runs weekdays, roughly 32 hours weekly, 4am-11am, traveling to LTC facilities and homes to collect specimens.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, proper labeling, specimen processing, and maintaining safety standards. Must have phlebotomy experience, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience in mobile phlebotomy/long-term care setting is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation to each facility.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy (venipunctures and capillary punctures) and processing duties.
• Follow patient identification procedures and label specimens correctly.
• Process specimens to maintain integrity for transport to testing facility.
• Provide training responsibilities if needed.
• Operate and maintain departmental equipment including computers and printers.
• Read, collect, and receive tests ordered accurately.
• Comply with all safety, policy, and regulatory requirements.
