Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Crown Point, IN. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide security coverage at a technology-focused site, perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and submit clear activity reports. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required where driving is involved.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unusual conditions to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts and dispatch.
