Allied Universal in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, customer-focused protection at our site. You’ll work a fixed anchor shift and have opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you increase earnings while maintaining a flexible schedule.

The role emphasizes safety, respectful service, and adherence to site policies. You’ll perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete reports.

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
