Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Inspection to provide reliable, consistent coverage at a designated site with flexible hours.

The role offers a fixed anchor shift plus the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings while gaining experience across sites.

Pay rate is $18.39 per hour with opportunities to scale hours up to 40 per week as needed.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, and parking lots to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in reports/logs.
