Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our mobile health center. The part-time clinician will support the South Baltimore unit, with occasional North Baltimore coverage, delivering primary and urgent care in a community setting.

The role requires a Masters in Nursing and MD/MSN licensure in Maryland, with 2+ years in primary care or community health, and the ability to work Mon-Thu. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; DNP/MBA/MHA/MPH credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years providing care to underserved populations
• Experience in primary care/urgent care/community health settings
• Active Maryland license as NP or equivalent
• Experience with all age groups
• Spanish bilingual preferred
• DNP/MBA/MHA/MPH credentials preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care and urgent care services on mobile unit
• Cover Monday-Thursday schedule (0.6 FTE, 24 hours/week)
• Occasional Friday or weekend half-days for community events
• Address acute and chronic illnesses for all ages in mobile setting
• Collaborate with registrar, community health advocate, and MA/phlebotomy on van
