Job summary

Central Jersey Medical Center is seeking a General Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care as part of the mobile unit team. The role requires NJ license, CDS and DEA licenses, CPR/BLS certification, and experience in ambulatory care settings. Travel to Perth Amboy, Carteret, and Newark may be required.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating dental conditions, maintaining accurate records, educating patients, and contributing to policy development under the Chief Dental Officer.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examines individuals requesting care and diagnoses dental/oral conditions.
• Prescribes and carries out or directs treatment per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate dental records and completes referrals and paperwork as required.
• Educates individuals on oral health and disease prevention.
• Serves on dental staff and center committees as assigned.
• Prepares reports for Chief Dental Officer.
• Participates in continuing education and staff training.
• Designs and implements Dental Department policies and procedures.
• Provides community health education as requested.
• Participates in program planning and goals for the Dental Department.
• Provides consultation to CEO and Board of Directors in absence of Chief Dental Officer.
• Travels to fulfill Medical Center needs and represents Dental Department.
