Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a part-time Beverage Specialist to lead beverage programming, including mixology, tastings, and wellness-focused sessions. The role involves hands-on instruction, workshops, and one-on-one consultations to help guests discover balance and wellbeing.

A sommelier certification is required, with a creative and guest-centered approach to teaching and service.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience facilitating beverage programs, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Polished and professional presentation suitable for brand representation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide lectures, workshops and classes for Miraval guests.
• Offer one-on-one lifestyle consultations on wellness and balance.
• Maintain materials used in facilitation of programs.
• Develop new curriculum and update existing programs based on research.
• Manage attendance numbers for facilitated classes.
• Collaborate with Culinary Specialist to maintain kitchen and materials.
• Demonstrate mindfulness and compassionate guest engagement.
