Job summary

Coaches student athletes at Ashton Ranch Middle School in Surprise, AZ, leading the middle school girls/boys volleyball program. The role is for a part-time, non-benefited position with a $1,000 supplemental salary, requiring relevant AZ coaching/teaching credentials and NFHS certifications where applicable.

Starting immediately, you will report to the Assistant Principal of Athletics and work within the Athletics department, engaging students and upholding district standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching or coaching certification is required for eligibility.
• NFHS certifications (Concussion in Sports; Cheer & Dance Safety) are required for some positions.
• Previous successful coaching experience in volleyball or the assigned sport.

Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes in the area of assigned responsibility.
• Organize and supervise the middle school volleyball program.
• Maintain rapport with students, staff, community members, and vendors.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality; perform other duties as assigned.
