Job summary

Sonoran Heights Middle School - Surprise, AZ is seeking a 26/27 SY Elemiddle Boys Volleyball Coach. The position is part-time and non-benefited, reporting to the Assistant Principal of Athletics.

Applicants must hold a valid Arizona teaching or coaching certification (or NFHS Level 1) and have prior coaching experience. Pooling of responsibilities and working conditions vary with the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teacher certification, or Arizona coaching certification, or NFHS Level 1 Certification.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card; First Aid/CPR certification; NFHS Concussion in Sports.

Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes in the area of assigned responsibility.
• Organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees and community members.
• Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
