Job summary

Dysart Unified School District in Surprise, AZ is seeking an experienced athletics coach to lead student athletic programs and supervise a comprehensive sports program. You will coach student athletes, organize competitions, and foster strong relationships with students, staff, families and vendors.

Qualified candidates will hold Arizona teaching or coaching certification (or NFHS Level 1), have prior coaching experience, and meet required certifications (IVP fingerprint, First Aid/CPR, NFHS

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teacher certification, Arizona coaching certification, or NFHS Level 1 Certification.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Must obtain and maintain AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• NFHS Concussion in Sports.
• NFHS Cheer & Dance Safety Certificate (for cheer positions)

Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes in area of assigned responsibility.
• Organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
