Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Support Merchandiser to work independently across various retail locations. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods, while demonstrating strong organization and time management on the sales floor.

The position offers starting pay at $11.70 per hour with raises to $12.40 after 6 months and $13.00 after one year, plus flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• Reliable transportation to cover multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for updates.
• Able to learn and use a company-provided tablet.
• Occasional weekends and major-holiday scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned routes, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate scheduling questions or concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, and product moves as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a tablet.
• Work independently or with a team.
