Job summary

American Greetings is seeking an independent Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Alma, MI. You will display and maintain greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush and related items, coordinating with store staff to ensure inventory is well presented and shelves are stocked.

No experience is required as training is provided. The role offers part-time hours, starting at $14 per hour with increases after six months and one year, paid training, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Access to reliable internet to receive updates.
• Ability to learn and use a company-provided tablet.
• Schedule availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or scheduling concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Occasionally assist with store resets, fixtures, or relocation.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
