Job summary

American Greetings is seeking Merchandisers to service multiple retail locations across our Brazoria area. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods, coordinating with store staff and management.

The role emphasizes organization, time management, and independence, with training provided and opportunities to grow within the route network. Starting pay is $13.10 per hour with staged increases to $13.80 after 6 months and $14.50 after 1 year.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs - occasional weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including fixture work and product assembly.
