As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you are a vital part of our purpose: helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life's special moments, by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every day. We are looking for merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

Pay:

• The starting pay is $12.60 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (rates are subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months, pay increases to $13.30.
• After 1 year, pay increases to $14.00.
• Flexible work scheduling is available.
• Paid training is provided.
• 401(k) with company match.

Route and Schedule:

This route will service retail locations at: 100 Lunger Drive, Bloomsburg, PA, 17815. The weekly average hours are 10, which may increase to 19 hours during holidays.

Ideal candidates should be available during daytime hours, especially Monday mornings, due to store needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service stores on your route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying products, maintaining backroom areas, and other inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule questions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing effective time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Experience Required:

No experience necessary; training will be provided.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable transportation and internet access.
• Technological competency to learn and use a company tablet.
• Availability for occasional weekends and holiday periods.

Physical Demands:

Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 40 pounds, and stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday. Use of a stepstool may be required. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
