As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you are a vital part of our company's purpose: helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life's special moments, by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. We are seeking merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing their organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

Pay:

• The starting pay is $12.60 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (rates may vary by location).
• After 6 months, pay increases to $13.30.
• After 1 year, pay increases to $14.00.
• Flexible work scheduling is available.
• Paid training is provided.
• 401(k) plan with company match.

Route and Schedule:

This route services the following retail location: 100 Lunger Drive, Bloomsburg, PA, 17815.

The average weekly hours are 10, with potential increases to 19 hours during holidays.

Ideal candidates should be available during daytime hours, especially Monday mornings, to meet store needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying products within greeting card departments, maintaining backroom areas, and other inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule concerns.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment using effective time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as needed.
• Plan and review your weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
