Central Pet Distribution is Hiring Part Time Merchandisers! 1 Day Per Week!

Do you love pets and enjoy working independently? Our growing company is seeking experienced merchandisers to visit and service our retail accounts. Our Pet Distribution team works together to supply our customers with the nation's top brands of pet supplies. With a set schedule and weekly route in a designated geographical area, our merchandisers excel at getting our products onto store shelves. If you are customer service oriented, organized, dependable, and have great time management skills, this may be the job for you!

Location: Park City/Heber City, UT area.

Shift Details: Part-time - 1 day, 5-8 hours per week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, unpack, and scan inbound inventory for retail locations using R/F units. Merchandise products onto store shelves according to schematics.
• Place replenishment orders for designated products.
• Count, pack, and arrange for pickup/delivery of returned goods.
• Develop relationships with Back Door Receivers.
• Work closely with store sales staff regarding shelf maintenance and merchandising standards.
• Construct and assemble displays and display components per specifications. Change and rotate interior display areas and signage for promotions.
• Monitor email and voicemail for communication requests and updates from the business unit.
• Practice safety measures when driving.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with store managers and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous merchandising experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with store personnel and consumers.
• Ability to safely use box cutters, bar-coding scanners, push carts, and dollies.
• Smartphone required.
• Access to a computer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable work habits.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to bend, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs. consistently; up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Maintain alertness and safety throughout the workday.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work occurs at retail grocery stores in loading/unloading areas and on sales floors.
• Driving to/from and between locations in personal vehicle.
• Remote work environment.

POSITION INFORMATION

• Pay rate: $18.75 - $19.00 per hour.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.56 per mile.
• $25/month phone and data plan reimbursement.
