Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager for Marlton, NJ. This part-time role drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory control. You will assist the Store Manager, maintain SOPs, provide MOD coverage, and lead key tasks from truck unloading to stock movement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience executing store SOPs and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and inventory control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOP adherence and company programs.
• Ensure policy compliance and store conditions with the team.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merch flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize tasks with store leadership to match business needs.
• Maintain in-stock levels via Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and floor.
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Process price changes and ensure pricing integrity across systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Manage damages procedures and training of team members.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices.
