Job summary

New Horizons Behavioral Health in Richland, GA is seeking a Part-time Client Support Worker for the Red Hill Group Home. The role supports residents with mental health diagnoses and requires availability across all shifts (8am–4pm, 4pm–12am, 12am–8am), up to 29 hours per week.

You will care for residents, teach daily living skills, monitor progress, ensure meals, maintain a clean, safe environment, assist with medication, bathing and ambulation as needed, and perform other duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with mental disabilities and/or addictive diseases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents with severe mental illness in a group home.
• Teach daily living skills, while ensuring meals are prepared.
• Regulate, document, and report resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment.
• Ensure medication compliance with individuals.
• Assist with bathing and ambulation, if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
