Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join the Rutledge State Prison team in Columbus, Georgia. The role involves providing mental health case management, conducting assessments, and delivering crisis intervention within a correctional setting.

The position requires a Masters-level degree, license eligibility, CPR certification, and at least two years of direct mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Must be license eligible.
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management in a correctional setting.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care.
• Conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
