Hours vary with rotations and labs; the role emphasizes adult learning principles, timely feedback, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifikationen

• Valid, unencumbered California BRN license.
• Eligibility for CA BRN Instructor approval in Medical-Surgical/OB/Pediatrics/Mental Health/Community Health/Geriatrics.
• Master’s degree in nursing/education or BSN with Master’s coursework for assignment faculty.
• BSN and being pursued for Master’s program may be considered for Clinical Teaching Assistant.
• Minimum four years of RN experience with recent clinical practice.
• Experience teaching nursing courses or related teaching coursework.
• Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, or Critical Care.

• Provide clinical site education to students as per curriculum.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback on clinical performance.
• Maintain student records and attendance per program policies.
• Assist with program data collection and reporting.
