Job summary

Silverado Brea, a memory care leader, is hiring part-time Caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. You’ll bring empathy, reliability, and teamwork to create meaningful moments every day.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, build relationships with residents and families, and report changes to the nursing team. Silverado offers 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, flexible Spending Account, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
