Active Generations in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a friendly Member Services Specialist to be the first contact for members, guests, and staff. This role manages communications, maintains membership records, processes payments, and assists with day-to-day office operations.

Weekend availability is expected, with occasional weekday hours. You will work within a collaborative team, delivering accurate information about programs and events while supporting the organization’s mission and customer-focused

Qualifications

• Knowledge of office management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain composure.
• Support the mission, values and culture of Active Generations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary contact for incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
• Provide accurate information about Active Generations’ programs, services, and events.
• Greet members and visitors and assist with their needs.
• Conduct facility tours to prospective members to promote growth.
• Process payments via cash, check, or card using the organization’s software.
• Perform clerical tasks, filing, correspondence, and records maintenance.
• Update membership database and internal directories accurately.
• Assist with daily deposits as needed.
• Develop processes to improve office and membership service efficiency.
• Manage Pickleball Court Reservations with applicable software.
• Perform light cleaning around the workspace.
• Support office personnel with various projects.
