Job summary

Silverado Alexandria is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to ensure safe and timely administration of medications for residents in a memory care setting. This role requires compassion, accuracy, and teamwork to support resident wellness.

You’ll assist with medication orders, inventory, and cart maintenance, and communicate clearly with residents, families, and the clinical team. Qualifications include a Medication Aide Certificate, a two-year degree or equivalent, and at least one year

Qualifications

• Medication Aide Certificate required for the state, enabling safe medication administration.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• At least one year of experience as a Medication Technician.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Memory care or Alzheimer’s/dementia experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Qualifications:

• Personal or professional experience in memory care or with individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range $23 — $27 USD
