Job summary

Silverado in Las Vegas is seeking a Medication Technician to join their award-winning memory care team. This role involves ensuring safe medication administration for residents, maintaining medication cart organization, and communicating effectively with families and clinical staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Medication Aide Certificate, experience in memory care, and a compassionate approach towards residents. Full-time hours offered with competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Medication Aide Certificate required for the state.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• At least one year of experience as a Medication Technician.
• Valid CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.

We’re hiring a Medication Technician – a detail‑oriented and compassionate team member who ensures safe and timely medication administration for our residents. This role blends precision, empathy, and teamwork to support wellness in a memory care setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist residents with routine medication administration
• Order, receive, and take inventory of medications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication cart
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the clinical team

Qualifications

• Medication Aide Certificate required for the state
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school
• At least one year of experience as a Medication Technician
• Valid CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Personal or professional experience in memory care or with individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule and Pay

Schedule: Full Time, PM shift, Friday – Tuesday. Pay range: $16.50 – $18.00 per hour.
