Silverado Belmont Hills in Belmont, Alabama, is seeking caring individuals to join its memory care team. The Caregiver role focuses on compassionate, hands-on support for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia, in a safe, engaging environment.

You will build relationships with residents and families while maintaining detailed care records. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and thrives in a team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

Anticipated pay range

$25—$29 USD
