Job summary

The Ivy Park of Wellington, a part of Ivy Living, is seeking a Medication Technician for memory care in California. The role supports residents with medication administration, personal care, and activities, in a team-oriented environment.

The position is part-time (6AM-2PM Sundays and Mondays). Requires at least 1 year of RCFE medication assistance, HS diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus. MS Office skills and a strong commitment to elder care are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience assisting with medication in RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
• Completion of state-required training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong desire to care for the elderly and their needs.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
