Oakmont of Redding, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a PT Medication Technician to support medication administration and resident care in a premier senior living community in California. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and teamwork with nursing and facility staff.

The position requires a flexible schedule to meet residents' needs, with benefits and opportunities across Oakmont communities.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) preferred.
• Completion of training/certification may be required per state regulation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus; must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
