Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a part-time Medication Technician for the Carmel-area facility. The role involves supporting medication administration to residents, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, and maintaining confidential medication records.

We offer benefits and a supportive team environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with AM and PM shifts available. Prior RCFE experience is preferred, and LVN certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience assisting with medications at a RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a LVN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
