Job summary

Elegance Living is seeking a part-time medication aide to administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, and to document all administrations and events in resident records.

The role requires direct resident care, clear communication with family and medical staff, and meticulous reporting of incidents and care activities. AM & PM shifts are available, with a supportive team and inclusive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have satisfactorily completed training in medications – including administration and documentation.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of medication identification, use, adverse effects and contraindications.
• Must maintain current certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Appropriate documentation of medication and treatment administrations.
• Documentation of events and incidents.
• Summary documentation in resident records.
• Direct care and service to residents as needed.
• Communicate with residents, family, physician, staff and ancillary care providers.
