Job summary

Mercy Health System is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the provider care team. This role requires accurate, precise, and timely performance of laboratory tests and the reporting of results while upholding Mercy service standards.

This part-time split shift position includes Monday day 7a-7p and Thursday night 7p-7a. Education options include an Associate degree with MLT certification or a Bachelors in a compliant field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree Certifications: MLT certification OR Bachelors degree, in a major that meets a certification agencies requirements OR Completion of a 50 week U.S. military medical laboratory training course

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests accurately, precisely, and timely.
• Evaluate and report test results while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain quality control and meet Mercy Service Standards.
• Exhibit excellent customer service in line with Mercy Signature Service
