Job summary

Canyon Ranch in Spicewood, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant/Clinical Technician to support wellness consultations by taking vital signs, medical history, and documenting findings accurately.

You will perform basic clinical tasks (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, BMI), ensure infection control and HIPAA compliance, and deliver exceptional guest service aligned with Canyon Ranch wellness standards. A high school diploma and a certified allied health program are required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities required.
• Completion of a medical assistant/clinical technician program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guests for medical or wellness consultations including vital signs and medical history.
• Perform clinical tasks such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, height, weight, and BMI measurements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

• Prepare guests for medical or wellness consultations including obtaining vital signs and medical history.
• Perform clinical tasks including blood presure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, height, weight, and BMI measurements.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Provide exceptional guest service consistent with Canyon Ranch wellness standards.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a medical Assistant, Clinical Technician, or similar allied health training program.
• Minimum 1 year clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
