Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam.
• Document patient history, complaints, exams, results, and plans.
• Capture diagnoses, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions in the EHR.
• Obtain lab and radiology results and coordinate referrals and reports.
• Communicate with patients to gather history and test results for care decisions.
• Follow patient flow and assist care team to optimize visits.
• Perform non-clinical tasks as requested by providers.
• Ensure HIPAA and privacy compliance in all documents.
